Cities we cover
Climate and housing stock change what a competent duct cleaning looks like. Each city page says what is different about that market before it shows you the companies.
Texas
Houston, TX8
Gulf Coast humidity keeps indoor dew points high for most of the year, so evaporator coils and the first few feet of supply trunk stay damp long enough for biological growth to take hold. Houston jobs are judged less on dust volume than on whether the contractor addressed the coil and drain pan at the same time.
Dallas, TX10
Long cooling seasons and heavy spring tree pollen mean North Texas systems run more hours per year than almost anywhere else in the country. Filter bypass around loose-fitting return grilles is the dominant complaint, and it is a duct-sealing problem as much as a cleaning one.
San Antonio, TX
Mountain cedar season drives a hard January spike in demand, and a large share of the housing stock uses attic-mounted flexible duct that degrades in summer attic temperatures. Rotary brushing is the wrong tool in much of this market; air-whip agitation is the right one.
Austin, TX
Sustained construction has left a lot of otherwise new homes with drywall dust and sawdust set into the ductwork from the build itself. Post-construction cleaning is a distinct job from maintenance cleaning, and pricing that assumes light residential loading will not cover it.
Arizona
Colorado
Florida
Tampa, FL
Year-round cooling plus coastal salt air is the hardest combination on the metal side of a system. Tampa homeowners most often call after seeing growth at supply registers, which is a symptom of duct surface temperature and humidity, not of dirty ducts alone.
Orlando, FL
A large short-term rental and property-management segment means turnover-driven scheduling and a real need for documented before/after imagery. Companies that cannot produce inspection footage on request struggle to hold that work.
South Carolina
Illinois
Naperville, IL
Tightly built suburban homes swing between a long heating season and a humid cooling season, so the same system sees both dry-dust and moisture conditions annually. Humidifier pads and bypass ducts are a routinely missed part of the job here.
Highland Park, IL
Older North Shore housing stock frequently has octopus-era trunk conversions, asbestos-wrapped legacy runs and multiple retrofitted zones. Scoping matters more than price, and any contractor who quotes over the phone without asking about the original system is guessing.
Schaumburg, IL
A high share of townhomes and mid-rise condos means shared and long-run dryer venting, which is both the biggest fire risk and the job most residential-only outfits decline. Association work also brings certificate-of-insurance requirements that many small operators cannot meet.
